whipped vanilla icing

  • 250g butter
  • 2 cups (320g) icing (confectioner’s) sugar, sifted 
  • 2 tablespoons milk 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Place the butter in the bowl of an electric mixer and beat for 6–8 minutes or until pale and creamy. Add the icing sugar, milk and vanilla and beat for a further 6 minutes or until light and creamy.

+ You can add store-bought food colouring to suit your theme.
