fig, goat’s cheese and honey tramezzini
(Venetian tea sandwiches)
- 8 slices white bread, crusts removed
- 50g soft goat’s cheese
- 2 figs, thinly sliced
- 1½ tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons chervil leaves
- cracked black pepper
- Spread 4 of the bread slices with the goat’s cheese and top with the fig, leaving a 1cm border. Drizzle with the honey and top with the chervil and cracked black pepper. Sandwich with the remaining bread slices. Using your fingers, press the edges to seal and cut in half. Serve immediately. Makes 4.
