pure green smoothie
- 1 cup (40g) trimmed and chopped kale leaves
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, chopped
- 1 cup (50g) baby spinach leaves
- ½ banana, chopped
- 1½ cups (375ml) cold-pressed green apple juice
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Place the kale, cucumber, spinach, banana, apple
juice and lemon juice in a blender and blend for
1–2 minutes or until smooth. Makes 3 cups.
